Middle Earth is in Chaos. The elves are departing, the humans are retreating, Mordor’s armies are gathering, Sauron is awake. However most of the Hobbits were still unaware of the dangers that lay outside their borders. But some have ventured far and wide on a journey to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom. - Spoiler:
They have been helped along by the Fellowship that has lately split after the raid by Uruk-hai from Isengard. Yet a great tragedy has befallen Frodo and his companion Sam. They have entered the territory of a thief; the Ring has been taken from them. - Spoiler:
“My precious!” it yelled in delight as it ran off into the night. Their task has been delayed. The war of the Ring has begun. Both sides are massing their forces, war seems inevitable. Who will find the Ring first, will it be Sauron and his allies or will it be those who fight against this evil soul and will do all they can to prevent the Ring from being reclaimed by its master? The Ring is an object. A player has started with it. If you possess the One Ring you will be unseen when you carry out your ability. However you can only keep it for one phase, day or night. You must pass it on the following phase by sending a pm to all the hosts (invisbleninja, La Hanson and Samafia) with the following subject: PassRing[playername]. If you do not pass the Ring on you will be weakened, no abilities, and could die the following phase. If unspecified you all have a lynch vote. Night 1 has begun

- Night 1 Write Up:
Night 1 Write UpThe night was silent but not still. One Man ventured deep in search of the One Ring into enemy territory. He searched the shadows for the creature that possessed it. Yet it was to no avail. But a few long strides further on he saw a flicker of light from within the trees. He crept towards the source discretely for he was trained in the art of stealth. He saw a small figure lying still wrapped in a sheet of cloth. "This must be it," he thought to himself and without a second glance he lunged towards the shape and blood seeped out of the sheet and a pool formed around the carcass. A smile of success upon his face but that faded when behind the sheets was the familiar face of a loyal hobbit. He was known as Samwise Gamgee. thekonkydong (Oliver Hill) has been killed. - Samwise Gamgee:
Lady Arwen was on her infinite search for Aragon. Maybe, she thought maybe, this will be aragon. Who she was sleeping with tonight was actually quite ugly. They hadn’t had anything planned for the night and therefore this was just a quick in and out jobby. After her ‘client’ fell asleep she decided to scoff her face full of chicken . When someone knocked at the door she assumed it was another one of her ‘clients’. Without hesitation she dropped all of her clothes and opened the door. She was instantly beheaded. “One does not simply dress like that.” Said the killer. Lady Arwen (Arthur Redwood) has been killed. - Lady Arwen:

- Day 1 Write Up:
Day 1 Write UpThe Sun was setting, his mission was incomplete. After failing to deliver the small-people he had been outcast and now dwelt deep within the mountains. Here he lived isolated and afraid. For the terror that also was known to roam this mountain was far too powerful for him to overcome. He had to stay within the shadows, hidden from all. But he knew this Beast would soon find him all he could do however was hope that time had not yet come.
He was searching the ruins for something that would allow him to put an aim in his life. As he was doing this a ray of light was cast upon him. Could this be a sign? As he turned his head he realised it wasn’t. The Beast had caught his scent. From the edge of a plinth high above his head the Beast stood letting loose a whip of fire. It crackled fiercely before let out a deafening war-cry. He knew he could not win this war but he still fought for the war of prowess and stood up and returned a low growl. He lifted his bow and took aim. He was never the best at archery but today he was lucky. The arrow hit a weak spot on the plinth and it began to crack. The cracks spread across it and then it vanished. Along with it the great Balrog plummeted down towards The Foundations of Stone, the deepest place in Middle Earth. Ed has died a painful death.- Balrog:

Night 2 Write-Up“The Ring, the Ring
It’s my Precious thing

Would be so juicy sweet! ”He heard the awful sounds from the distance but did not bother to even glance towards the source. Instead he looked down and went forward. Stricken with grief due to his previous mistake he ambled aimlessly through the woods trying to remove the memories from his brain. Without knowing he stumbled upon the outskirts of Isengard. He recalled hearing that this place was now a hive for new Uruk-Hai. Anger took hold of him.
He waited until he had the cover of complete darkness. Then he snuck into Orthanc. He soon reached the main hall whilst managing to avoid all detection. He spied a door that stood ajar. He crept towards it and saw a figure lurking in the shadows. It was the betrayer. Fury boiled inside him. He raised his sword and as he did the rising sun from the West shone upon him. He struck with the power of a phoenix. The wizard was beheaded and the body fell of the edge to its squishy death. Saruman, Yichen, had died.- Saruman:

Day 2 Write UpThe quest must be completed but first I must reclaim the Ring he thought to himself. He scrambled up the steep mountainside as fast as his bare feet and small legs could carry him. Soon he reached a platform and surveyed his surroundings. There on the other side of the valley were the jagged rocks. These were where the creature dwelt and that is where he must reach.
He was jogging up through the valley when he came across a stream. He glanced at the water as he walked alongside it. He became entranced by the gentle ripples of the water. It seemed to have an effect on his sight since the water soon started to look murky brown and then changed to a thick red colour.
‘Wait’ he said to himself. He looked up. He hadn’t been dreaming. The river was actually blood red because of a carcass floating along the stream. At closer inspection he realised that it had been ripped to shreds as if somebody had eaten the limbs for a crunchy snack. There was also a blackarrow sticking out of its ribcage. The horror shocked him but he still searched for the Ring but knew whoever had done this would have taken it far away by now. The only recognisable remain of the carcass was a familiar eyeball. This made him wander, who had killed Gollum?
Gollum, Miles Kitching, has died a gruesome death. - Smeagol/Gollum:

- Night 3 Write Up:
Night 3 Write UpIt was a misty night; the air was thick with confusion. The hillsides were full of troops preparing for battle. But for now they were resting and gaining their strength. In a tent isolated from the rest there sat a man dressed as a ranger cleaning his battle gear. He sang to himself softly “I am the best, yes I am.” He was full of pride when he was alone yet outside he was afraid that his people would not support him. He packed his things away and went to bed keeping his dagger under his pillow for safety.
A while later there was a rustle of fabric at the entrance of the tent. The ranger awoke at once and removed the dagger from under his pillow. In the poor light he could only see a slight sparkle then a sudden movement. His killer instinct took control of him and with an almighty thud the dagger flew through the air and buried itself firmly in the heart of the unexpected visitor. Quickly he lit the candle near his bed and went over to inspect the victim of his attack. It was a rather old face that belonged to the mighty wizard, Gandalf. Oliver Burling has been reclaimed by death. - Gandalf the White:
A few moments later a broad-shouldered figure rushed towards the tent and saw the dead corpse. “What have you done!” yelled the broader man. “It was an accident!” yelled the ranger. “One does not simply kill Gandalf!” he yelled back in fury, “I shall chop of your head in payment for your deeds.” But this was not going to happen because the next moment a wooden object hit the broad man in the back of the head knocking him unconscious. “How do ya like m’ axe!” yelled the stout figure who wielded the weapon. Another soldier of Gondor was also watching.Somewhere far away more trouble had stirred. The king of the dead had been waiting, planning for this. He knew his target he had waited for so long just to start. Making sure he knew what he was doing he approached his target but instead his head was ripped off and smashed into hundreds if not thousands of pieces. The killer didn’t even look at him, his heavy footsteps continued without hesitation. Burkybaby dropped to his knees then lay on the floor. This was not the start he’d been hoping for.- King of the Dead:
Well that was a hell write up but it's not over! The rising has begun!The RisingThe great burning eye came crumbling down. The tower fell and the eye ceased to exist. The tower disappeared into the ground lifting a plume of smoke with it. Ash and dust covered half of mordor.. The Uruk-hai stood by the blast. He couldn’t help but smile. He had done this after all. He was bringing the dark lord back to power. All this time waiting, plotting. Now the time was here. He had done it. Success. Sure there had been some hiccups but the stupid wizard had it coming. The plume cleared and the dark lord arose. He strode forward approaching the kneeling Uruk-hai. The odour of fish was unmistakable even after all this time he still remembered it. Then came the other Muppet, as fast as he possibly could. Impressively fast even for the dark lord himself. The dark lord nodded his approval. He had already thought this through. Being an eye for so long, he could see everything, every weakness. His tactics were flawless, his intelligence was intimidating. He didn’t need to speak, his presence said it all. With the ring back on his finger, he opened the black gate and walked onto the plains of middle earth.Well after the most interesting write up so far I think it is time to start the day! Day 3 Write Up
The sun peaked over the horizon and splattered the surroundings with dazzling gold rays. A fine day it was to begin the march towards the Black Gates attempting to defeat the evil that had gathered in the land beyond it. Though this army was brave it was miniscule compared to that which they faced and the commander of rhe enemy was a master of strategies. Another disadvantage was the White Wizard had died. There was one source of hope for the people of Gondor, he led them into this battle and hoped to bring them out again. He bore a the image of a white tree upon his chest and was a broad-shouldered figure.
At the front of the army was the commanding unit of which this high ranked soldier was a part of. They steared towards the left on their horses and then split from the main army. They unmounted on a flat plain that was safe from attacks yet provided a clear view of the battlefield and the Black Gates. They discussed for a while attempting to find a weak spot but nobody was present who held knowledge of this place. They came upon a decision and return to their units.
The broad-shouldered soldier went to his horse and fastened his sword onto it. But as he did so a creature leaned out from behind a tree and shot an arrow at him. It hit him between the shoulder blades but did not kill him. He quickly withdrew his sword and was about to attack when a sword tipped with poison sliced his chest horizontaly. Blood gushed out and his internals ruptured out before him as he fell stiffly. Boromir, George Carsley, had been slain.- Boromir:

| Boromir (village) You are brother of faramir and son of the steward of Gondor.(Denethor) You were killed by Lurtz in the films but that is yet to happen. Ability: You are a night killer. Every night phase you can attempt to kill someone. However, if you attempt to kill Lurtz you will die. Win condition: You win when all evil is eradicated from middle earth. justin is it possible that you or i are lurtz? the reason why i chose to kill arthur is because i didnt know who to choose but i asked arthur what his role was and he was REALLY shifty, couldnt tell me anything but he was "definitley village" turns out he was but hey..  | |

| Well this is interesting.
We know that Boromir definitely killed Arthur (from the clue). There are two people claiming Boromir, with the EXACT same claim (about Lurtz). Assuming that this isn't some kind of mod error, it is far more likely that Nasalseep simply copied Justin's claim after being counterclaimed.
However, the role PM he c&p-ed seems to be roughly the correct structure. There is a discrepancy here, however, with capitalisation. In my PM, the proper nouns (eg. Middle-Earth, names) are all capitalised, whereas in NasalSeep's PM, "faramir" and "middle earth" aren't (I also had a hyphen in "Middle Earth" in my role PM). Could some other players look at their PMs and check whether the grammar in them is different from that of NasalSeep's (it could indicate that someone else wrote the PM, such as NasalSeep himself). | |

I think La Hanson is pretty much confirming that the discrepancy in language is due to different mods. Another possible inference is that Hanson is CONFIRMING that the PM NasalSeep posted is indeed written by a mod (this gives him most reason to defend NasalSeep's claim). | |

Well, no. If Justin is scum, then he wouldn't have any reason to counterclaim you as Boromir. The best he can do is get you lynched, and then be killed himself. So maybe one of you is jester, or this is a mod error. Another possibility is that Justin is Lurtz and wants you to target him (this doesn't make sense, since he'd be lynched once you die). Currently, it doesn't make sense that you're scum, because why would you claim a character that's guaranteed to be in the game? It doesn't make much sense that Justin is scum either, since there'd be no reason for him to counterclaim you. I suggest that whoever is Boromir target the other person who claims Boromir (at night), to eliminate the possbility of jester winning. If Boromir dies, then we can conclude the other person is Lurts (or lying, at least). Or it could be that the same PM is sent to both of you, but that's quite unlikely. | |

| I can't confirm or deny anything. But allow me to make a scenario. So we had 19 sign ups. Imagine that's 20. So the majority is 11. If the village have 10 3rd party have 5 and mafia have 5. Then two village die on the first night. There are now 18 players. The village have 8 and the majority is 9. So the village are already outvoted on lynch. These number may or may not be accuarate. Use your commen sense. Whoever, killed lady arwen and whoever killed sam were complete idiots. By charging in guessing it could of determined the outcome of the game. Perhaps concentrate on the future not the past. It would also be valuable to find out who killed the samwise. Yes there are two different text styles. So don't eliminate and confirm through that. I can't confirm or deny roles. But remember anything and everything CAN be faked. | |

Ability:
You are a night killer. Every night phase you can attempt to kill someone. However, if you attempt to kill Lurtz you will die.
Win condition:
You win when all evil is eradicated from middle earth.
It's identical.
Good news: we have 2 vigs.

| Actually, VOTE: Justin Thyme.If this is a mod error, it'd be beneficial to 'fess up to it There can only be one Boromir. Either NasalSeep or Justin faked their role PM. If their role PMs are identical, then one must have copied the other. Justin does not have a reason to fake his role PM unless he was lying. (Copying counts as faking) If NasalSeep's role PM is fake, then Justin's would be real, and therefore Justin would not have a reason to copy it. NasalSeep posted his first, therefore, Justin copied his role PM. Therefore, NasalSeep's role PM is real, and Justin is lying.
